Terms of Service

By adding Music + Gambling ("the bot") to a Discord server, or by using any of its commands, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, remove the bot or stop using it.
What the bot is
The bot provides a virtual server economy, chance-based mini-games, and a voice music player. It is provided free of charge, as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, and with no warranty of any kind.
Nothing in this bot has real-world value. Balances, items and winnings are numbers in a database. They cannot be bought, sold, cashed out, redeemed, or exchanged for money or anything of value. No real money is ever involved and no gambling in the legal sense takes place.
Who may use it
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement — 13, or higher where your local law requires it — and be in good standing under Discord's Terms of Service. These terms sit on top of Discord's; they never override them.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Abuse bugs, race conditions or duplication exploits to generate currency or items. Report them instead.
- Automate the bot with self-bots, macros or scripts, or use it to spam or mass-mention.
- Use the bot to harass anyone, or to play media that is illegal, hateful, or sexual content involving minors.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the bot or the machine it runs on.
- Use the bot to infringe copyright, or to circumvent the access controls or terms of any media platform.
If you run a server
Configuring the bot — shop items, role rewards, payouts, DJ roles — is your responsibility. In particular, any role you attach to a shop item is a role you chose to let members buy. The bot refuses to hand out roles that are above its own position or that carry dangerous permissions, but it cannot judge intent; check what a role can do before you sell it.
Economy, items and resets
Balances and items may be adjusted, reset or wiped: by your own server's administrators using the bot's admin commands, or by the operators to correct an exploit, a bug, or abuse. There is no compensation for a reset, because none of it has value. Server admins can reset their own server's economy at any time.
Music
The music player streams from third-party sources at your request. You are responsible for what you queue and for having the right to play it. The operators do not host, store or distribute any of that media — the bot fetches it on demand and discards it. Playback may break at any time when an upstream source changes; that is not a defect the operators undertake to fix.
Availability
The bot runs on a single privately rented machine. It may go offline for maintenance, updates, failures, or for no stated reason. Features may change or be removed. There is no service level, no uptime promise, and no obligation to provide notice.
Suspension
The operators may block any user or any server from using the bot, with or without notice, for breaking these terms or for abusing the service. The bot may also leave a server at any time. You can end this agreement at any point by removing the bot.
Liability
The bot is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use — including lost balances, lost items, lost data, downtime, or anything that happens in your server as a result of how the bot was configured.
Privacy
What the bot stores and how to have it deleted is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them and material changes are announced in the support server. Continuing to use the bot afterwards means accepting the revised terms.
